hey guys,
how many of you have to go back to school in the next few weeks, i have to start going to school on thursday, but i am going on wednesday to help all the freshman band members and set up all the band stuff we are going to be doing on our first football game. It is going to be awesome. And to all the people who think band is nerdy and stupic (even though it is a little nerdy to be honest), think again, without band, we would not have all the musicians to play all the star wars music and all the other music in your fav tv shows and movies. Sorry for goin off there, but i absolutly hate it when people make fun of me for being in band and getting to play star wars music occasionally...

Dude I was a drummer in band so no I don't think its nerdy ore stupid... I love music and I knocked a guy out for calling band call stupid... but i don't go to school until maybe march of april because that is when I am going to Art College...

cool, but playing in concert band and stuff is a little nerdy, and people call it that because band is ment to be hard...but some people are just mean...

Lol... no one at my school ever though band was nerdy... the dude I knocked out was from a naboring school... everyone at my school loved the band probably more then they loved the football team...

actually more than half of the music is from a band notice how you hear a trumpet in the imperial march

orchestra is just a fancy word for band... they all have the same instuaments so they are the same thing... the Star Wars music did come from a band of musicians...

Wrong an orchestra hs different instruments like singing violins other stringed instruments and pianos

Yeah and all of those were in may band in junior High and High school... So an orchestra is just a fancy word for band...

dude what kind of band doesn't have stringed instuaments it's be a really bad band with out a string section... violens, veolas, bases, you know that sort... and we had a choir as well they just pacticed in a different room until we went to the attitoreum for pactice praforminces...

our band doesn't have that at all, most bands don't you must have been in a special program, our jazz bands have some strings, but otherwise no...
